Some of the things we look for are artists that have commercial, radio-ready songs, possess an uncommon level of professionalism (meaning that you are not a legend only in your own mind); professional gear (definition: equipment not purchased from Wal-Mart); competent representation (i.e. NOT the lead singer's girlfriend acting as "manager"); performing experience, a devoted fan base, and a solid sales history. And from a personal perspective, we want to work with bands that want to work with us, that realize that while this is an exciting business, it is still a business, and that you need to work hard to get to the top and harder still to stay there. We like bands that realize that getting signed is only the beginning and that’s when the work really starts and will partner with us to help make them successful.
